Description
The Beontag Viking Micro CR 20232 is a small, industrial-grade Bluetooth® Low Energy tag designed for asset tracking in harsh environments.
Powered by a non-replaceable coin cell battery, it offers up to 8 years of operation in typical applications. It supports Eddystone (UID, URL, TLM) and iBeacon open standard frame formats, making it easy to implement across various BLE applications.
Key features include Bluetooth® 5.3 wireless interface protocol, compliance with CE, UKCA, FCC, and IC standards, and an operational frequency band of 2.4GHz ISM: 2402 - 2480 MHz. The device incorporates an InPlay IN100 System-on-Chip and comes pre-configured at ordering. It also features built-in temperature sensors, a hall switch, and battery voltage monitoring, with a maximum transmit power of +4 dBm and a theoretical read range of up to 70 meters.
The housing is made of high-quality PC+ASA, colored dark grey (Pantone 433U), ensuring durability with a weight of 7g for the CR2032. The tags are designed to operate on any surface and are highly resistant to environmental conditions, including IP68 water resistance and robust chemical resistance.
