Kathrein RTLS-Transponder

The new Kathrein RTLS-T-1000 transponder series set a new IoT standard based on the real-time location and tracking solution. The unique combination of UWB with RAIN RFID and NFC technology in a robust IP67 housing allow an easy and seamless integration into an existing RFID infrastructure. RTLS-Node

The Kathrein RTLS nodes can be easily supplied with powerand network via PoE. To keep the installation costs for the network as low as possible, the nodes also have their own optional 2.4 GHz radio network for data transfer. Kathrein MIRA-100-circular Mid Range Antenna

The mid-range antenna (MiRa) was developed for applications in range between the near and far field. The focus of the compact design was for integration in space-critical applications. The typical read range varies from 0.2 to 2 m of course this is depending on tag properties, environment and requirements. Reading distances of up to 5 m are possible with tag dimensions of only 13 x 15 mm. In most cases the MiRa is used for reading distances up to 2 m, for which it features sufficient selectivity. Therefore, this antenna design is especially suitable for applications in the so-called transition area with different tag types.

The RFID Windshield Label serves for the automatic, contactless identification of vehicles (Automatic Vehicle Identification, AVI). The label is adhered to the inside of the windshield. The development of the RFID Windshield Label was focused on a very high read range, thanks to special antenna behind glass and a passive function without battery. Kathrein ARU 8500 RFID Antenna Reader Unit

The new ARU 8500 reader enables a reliable detection of goods and the direction of movement. The core function of the ARU 8500 is a circular switch-beam antenna. In contrast to standard RFID antennas, the antenna beam here can be swivelled in three areas to track the direction of movement in a gantry or when the goods pass through a gate. The otherwise easily detected pass-through area is divided into three zones in order to reliably determine the direction of movement when the goods pass through the gate (zone 1 to 3; zone 3  to 1). Particularly helpful here is the ability to distinguish the transported goods that pass through all three zones from the unmoved goods that are onlydetectable in one zone.
