Optimized train management is becoming increasingly important. Kathrein has created a combination with on-track RFID technology and their CrossTalk platform, which provides fleet management with real-time information on when and where trains are running and in what constellation.
This means that all work around the trains, such as maintenance intervals, spare parts management and train composition management can be efficiently planned and carried out.
Use was made of the ARU 3500 or RRU 4570 with an external antenna. This provides selective reading zones and also has an optional multi-tag, which can read at high speed. Kathrein's CrossTalk software filters out unwanted reads and is suitable for configuration and monitoring, which can be well integrated with the backend IT.
